  1. How can we (the agent) get appointed with Service Lloyds to write workers’ compensation?

  2. What is our commission rate?
    The commission rate is 12% for new business and 10% for renewal business based on the premium less the expense constant.

  3. What class codes do you write or do you write a certain class code?
    Please see our Class Codes and Guidelines.

  4. What is your turnaround time on quotes?
    Turnaround time for quotes is 3 days or less.

  5. Can we rate/quote online?
    We do have an online rating program. Please contact us at (800) 299-6977 to obtain additional information about how to register for access to our online rating program through the eClient portal.

  6. What is needed to obtain a workers’ compensation quote?
    A completed Acord Workers’ Compensation Application and copies of loss runs for the most current 3 years are required for quoting purposes. Additional information may be requested at the discretion of the underwriter. Please see our Guidelines for more detailed information.

  7. What is your A.M. Best rating?
    Our rating is an A-.

  8. What payment options are available for policyholders?
    We have four payment plan options available for payment of premium:
    • Payment in full (required if premium is $500 or lower)
    • Monthly installments with 25% down payment and 10 monthly installments
    • Monthly premium reporting is available for eligible accounts upon prior approval by underwriting
    • Pay As You Go with 0% downpayment and monthly reported payroll. This payment option requires the policyholder to process their payroll through PEIGO's payroll service.

  9. In what other states do you write workers’ compensation?
    At this time, we only write workers’ compensation in Texas.

  10. When are premium payments due?
    Billing statements are sent on the 10th of each month and payment is due by the 1st of the following month.

  11. Do you accept credit card or debit card payments?
    Credit card or debit card payments are not available at this time.

  12. What methods of payment do you accept?
    We accept payments of premium by check, by Service Lloyds online payment option, or by automatic withdrawal. Automatic withdrawal requires a completed and signed ACH Authorization Form. You may also contact our Accounting Department at (800) 299-6977 for further assistance.

  13. Do you accept premium financing?
    No, we do not accept premium financing at this time.

  15. How do I get changes made to the policy?
    Please send a written request detailing the policy change needed to your agent or underwriter.
