Each year, thousands of employees experience heat-related illnesses. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics in 2015, 2,830 workers experienced heat illnesses resulting in 37 worker fatalities.  Thirty-one percent of all heat-related fatalities were in construction.

Heat Illness can be a matter of life and death. When the human body is unable to maintain a normal temperature, heat-related illnesses can occur and result in death. Service Lloyds has developed resources to assist your organization in the prevention of heat related illnesses.
